I trained in London in the early 1980s and have been fortunate to work in the hair industry all over the world throughout my career. After many years behind the chair, I’ve now stepped back from salon floor work to focus on running the business and supporting the growth of the team.

My passion has always been education, creativity, and helping others develop confidence in their craft. My goal is to continue building Ruby Lane into one of the leading salons in Buckinghamshire, known for beautiful hair, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Serena has now retired from hairdressing.

With over 40 years of experience behind the chair, hairdressing isn’t just my career — it’s my passion. I still love creating beautiful hair and making clients feel their absolute best every single day. Known for my loyal clientele, warm personality and dedication to perfection, I always give 100% to every client who sits in my chair.

With over 20 years of hairdressing experience, I still genuinely love what I do. As the life and soul of the salon, I’m passionate about creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere where every client feels relaxed, listened to and looked after. I believe great hair is about more than just the cut - it’s about the whole experience. From consultation to finish, I take the time to understand exactly what my clients want and deliver results that leave them feeling confident and refreshed. Alongside working behind the chair, I’m also a qualified assessor, bringing knowledge, experience and attention to detail into every appointment.

Having moved from London, I’ve brought my passion, creativity and experience with me to the salon full time. I love all aspects of hairdressing, but especially creating confident, stylish short haircuts tailored perfectly to each client. I’m also Curly Confidence Cut trained, helping clients embrace and enhance their natural curls with specialist cutting techniques. Friendly, approachable and passionate about great hair, I love making every client leave the salon feeling their absolute best.

Having trained here at the salon and with over 20 years of experience behind me, I’m proud to be a fantastic all-round hairdresser with a real passion for making clients look and feel amazing. From classic styles to fresh new looks, I love every part of salon life and bringing great energy to the team. Known for my fun personality and organisational skills, I’m also the one behind many of our salon events - whether it’s fundraising for a great cause or planning the perfect team night out!

With over 20 years of experience as a stylist, I still absolutely love what I do. Working part time around family life with my three children, I’m passionate about helping every client feel confident, cared for and at their very best. I enjoy all aspects of hairdressing, with a special love for Curly Girl cuts and healthy hair care. I’m dedicated to not only creating beautiful hair, but also educating clients on how to look after and embrace their natural texture. Friendly, approachable and passionate about great results, I love making every salon visit a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Having trained in the salon back in 2002, I’m proud to have grown with the team and built a career doing what I love. Working part time alongside being a proud mum of two, I’m passionate about every aspect of hairdressing - from creative cutting and styling to effortless hair-up looks for any occasion. Friendly, experienced and dedicated to making clients feel amazing, I love helping people leave the salon feeling confident, refreshed and truly looked after.

I’m passionate about all aspects of hairdressing, especially colour work and creating looks that truly suit each client. I love a challenge and believe nothing is ever too much trouble when it comes to helping someone achieve their perfect hair. Honest, approachable and always focused on maintaining healthy, beautiful results, I pride myself on giving professional advice clients can trust. I’m also passionate about continued education and love attending courses to keep my skills fresh and up to date. My training includes the prestigious ABC Vidal Sassoon cutting course in London, alongside many advanced Revlon colour and cutting courses. I’m also a qualified assessor, bringing experience, precision and attention to detail into every appointment.

Having worked here for over 15 years, hairdressing continues to be incredibly rewarding for me. I’m passionate about creating a welcoming, relaxed experience where clients feel truly listened to and cared for. Client satisfaction is at the heart of everything I do, and I take the time to understand each person’s style, needs and lifestyle to create the perfect look for them. As an independent stylist, I’ve built strong relationships with my loyal clients through trust, honesty and consistently delivering beautiful results.

After achieving my Level 3 Advanced & Creative qualification in 2023 with a proud distinction through the prestigious HOB Academy, I’ve continued to grow my passion for all aspects of hairdressing. I love being creative with hair and enjoy everything from precision cutting to perming and modern colour transformations. Always eager to expand my skills, I regularly attend training courses in creative colouring and advanced cutting techniques to stay up to date with the latest trends and styles. I’m also trained in Curly Confidence Cut, helping clients embrace and enhance their natural curls with specialist cutting methods tailored to textured hair.

After qualifying with my Level 3 in 2023, I’ve loved building my skills and confidence within the industry. I’m passionate about all things colour and love taking on a challenge — whether it’s a complete transformation, colour correction or helping clients achieve their dream hair. I also specialise in smoothing treatments and have a real passion for healthy hair, offering plenty of advice on how to keep your hair looking and feeling its best between appointments.

I’m always keen to learn and continue developing my skills, having completed a variety of courses including social media training, Revlon and Wella colour courses. I completed both my Level 2 and Level 3 training with the prestigious HOB Academy, giving me a strong foundation in modern hairdressing techniques and trends. I can’t wait to welcome you into the salon and help you achieve hair you love!

Having successfully completed my Level 2 qualification and currently working towards my Level 3 in Hairdressing, I’m passionate about continuing to grow my skills and confidence within the industry. I love all aspects of hairdressing and especially enjoy helping clients feel their best with fresh, confidence-boosting hair. I’m also trained in Curly Confidence Cutting, allowing me to work with and enhance natural curls using specialist techniques tailored to textured hair.I’m currently offering a special promotion on cuts and blow dries — the perfect opportunity to book in and experience my work. Having been part of the salon team since 2012, I’m the friendly face that welcomes you through the door and helps keep everything running smoothly front of house. I love greeting clients and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels relaxed and looked after from the moment they arrive. Passionate about organisation and attention to detail, I take pride in ensuring the salon is always clean, tidy and beautifully presented for every client visit.

Having worked at the salon since 2016 as part of our front of house team, I love being one of the first friendly faces clients see when they walk through the door. Always smiling and happy to help, I’m passionate about creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where every client feels comfortable, relaxed and looked after from the moment they arrive.
